COROS

“For COROS it’s all about outdoors, mountains, and a passionate active lifestyle. We combine high-grade hardware with innovative technology to provide endurance athletes with the gear they rely on…when you use a COROS product, you know you are getting a tool that has been designed, tested and perfected for the athlete, by athlete.”

Making waves in the wearable technology sector is young Californian sports tech company, COROS. Founded in 2016, its first product was a ‘smart cycling helmet’ and it now boasts an inventory of products to rival the most established players in the market, including four different premium multi-sport GPS watches, the COROS Pod for all you running data lovers and a host of accessories to customize to your style.

Although COROS is now the official sponsor of some of the world’s best trail athletes and mountaineers, it wasn’t until February 2020, that it signed-up its first group of professional road and track athletes. This impressive roster includes, Desiree Linden, the 2018 Boston Marathon Champion and two-time Olympian, Parker Stinson, 9 time NCAA D1 All-American and, of course, Reed Fischer, 20th fastest American ever over the half-marathon, and a member of the illustrious Tinman Elite.

However, the newest athlete to the roster is none other than Eliud Kipchoge. Despite the already big athletes involved with Coros, Kipchoge being added to the mix really seems to heighten their reputation. Being affiliated with elites, obviously improves the brand image, but what matters most is actually the quality of the watches.

As its popularity grows, we took a look at the current COROS products to see what makes them tick…pun intended.
